Information Collection and Use

"Whose number+" is as anonymous as possible:

  •  does not try to determine, does not process and does not transfer any personal data of the user (full name, phone number, E-Mail, etc.) and smartphone identifiers (IMEI number, MAC address, etc.), for excluding the IP address of the current Internet connection, which is used when making Internet requests;
  •  during incoming and outgoing calls, to obtain information about the calling or called unknown number and identify spam calls, it uses offline databases of information about unknown numbers, mobile operators and geolocation of telephone numbers that are built into the program or downloaded and updated from our server at a specified frequency (using offline databases allows the program to work in the absence of internet access);
  •  during incoming and outgoing calls, if Internet access is available, sends requests through the built-in Caller ID and MNP Services (Caller identification and Mobile Number Portability - the program's own services to support requests to Internet services) about the calling or called unknown number to our Internet service and/or Internet services added by you to obtain information about an unknown number and identify spam calls (when requested, only the unknown number itself is transmitted, Internet services can record in their databases or log files an unknown phone number from the request, the time of the request and the IP address of the device from which the request came; we also strongly advise that you read the Privacy Policy of self-added Internet services, we have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services that you may add to the Caller ID and MNP Services; collected during the work of the Caller ID Service, public reviews of other users from public Internet sites can be sent to our Internet service to process and update information about an unknown number in our Internet service and our offline databases);
  •  during incoming and outgoing calls, if you allow the program access to your contacts, it ignores calls to contact's numbers and does not process such calls in any way, without making any requests for information on them either in offline databases or to any Internet services (the user's contacts themselves are never transferred anywhere, they are used only offline on your device in order to disable requests for their numbers);
  •  during incoming and outgoing calls, if you do not allow the program access to your contacts, such calls are processed as regular calls to unknown numbers (in this case, the program does not have access and does not process the user's contacts in any way);
  •  after incoming and outgoing calls of unknown numbers, it records the unknown number, date, time and type of call (incoming, outgoing or blocked) in its own call log, which is not transmitted anywhere, is stored only locally on the device and is shown to the user in the program with additional information found about unknown number (program requests access, but does not process system call log in any way, READ_CALL_LOG permission, together with PROCESS_OUTGOING_CALLS and READ_PHONE_STATE, is used to be able to display an information window during calls if program is not set by as default application "Caller ID and spam filter");
  •  after incoming and outgoing calls of unknown numbers or at any time from the program's own call log, allows the user to create, edit or delete his public user feedback about an unknown number on our Internet service (user public review is available for viewing by other users and is used to create a record our database with information about an unknown number; publishing reviews on our Internet service is completely anonymous: creation, storage, editing and the deletion of user reviews is carried out only on the device itself with the addition, updating or deletion of review data on our Internet service without any link to a specific user).
